DescriptionThe stunning, dramatic landscape characterized by both clifftop waterfront and sandy beaches, is allowed to dictate the design entirely, producing a chain of unforgettable golf holes that may have an unusual sequence, but instead make use of the best natural sites for golf holes or individual tees and greens. Thus, the integrity of the site is placed above any pre-conveived notion of hole sequences, yardages or par. This natural approach became the inspiration behind the designer‘s Why-18-Holes concept, that has since then been developed further and been a subject of on-going debate in golf.
